At Prairie Island this AM there wasn't too much happening. A House Wren was singing away. A Purple Martin was singing a song different from its chew call.

At home I heard a thud: bird hitting window. I started out stopping dead in my tracks. A Lincoln Sparrow perched on the deck railing. Only to takeoff hitting the window again. Finally headed west.

While looking for bird articles there is one titled “We’ve been cooped up so long we are becoming bird watchers”. We all come to birding in our own way.

God birding!
