I have seen 1 goldfinch all winter, once. Here (Arden Hills, NW Ramsey County) the chickadees are filling up on thistle. I often have 4 to six mourning doves on my feeding tray and under my pines, where I throw a variety of seed. Lois Rem Arden Hills, MN
