The last junco made its escape from my yard on Wednesday. I wished it traveling mercies. Its spot was taken by a Swainson's Thrush.
Chickadees went bill-to-bill and cardinals beak-to-beak while mate-feeding. An awwww-inspiring moment.
The plum trees bloomed in Baltimore Orioles. When plums flower, I look for orioles. The orioles arrive to a delightful aroma. Orioles and catbirds are feeding frequently on suet.
Birds give mornings a sweetness.
