[Mnbird] GBH

Yesterday while walking the dog we saw our first GBH of the year flying
over Queens Ave. N. in Otsego. We assume it came from the nearby
Mississippi River where there is a rookery. Also, we've been hearing (but
haven't seen) sandhill cranes for a few days, and seeing lots of swans. One
pair has been visiting a still frozen branch of Diamond Lake (off S.
Diamond Lake Road in Rogers) where there has been a nest for the past
couple of years. Guess they are as eager for spring as we are!

Cheers,

Kim Wilcox
