About a week ago I was on 494 in Bloomington and I saw a loose collection of about 10 ten adult American eagles flying toward the river. I have never seen a flock of eagles. Is this something they do regularly when migrating?

A harrier flew over a newly picked cornfield on Henderson Road south of
Ridgeway Saturday morning. And not Minnesota, but close enough, two
whooping cranes were observed flying near the Marshland entrance to
Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge by my Ornithology class on Thursday
afternoon. Wow! The refuge manager says this is the first report of
whooping cranes at TNWR.
