Had a fabulous day birding today South and west of Pearl Lake in 
Stearns County. Saw and heard western meadowlarks heard one eastern 
grasshopper sparrows seen and heard.Bobolinks in 3 different meadows. 
Also heard a no. of wood thrushes. I bird this area often and haven't 
seen meadowlarks and bobolinks for years. Also had black terns on the 
Watkins sewage ponds.
