While hiking at Elm Creek Park Reserve this morning, Maureen and I saw our first-of-the-year Tundra Swans. A flock of 35-40 were flying silently to the WNW over the West Hayden Lake Area at about 9:50 am. Not much else of note besides some noisy Sandhill Cranes in several directions, all low and out of sight. Ron Refsnider
