John,
Am not sure of your location. A few weeks ago I reported seeing a
Red-headed woodpecker on CR 138 in Ogema Township, Pine County, the first
we'd seen in a few decades. This weekend I spotted three different
individuals in two different locations, same township, same day. One male
was about one mile west of the Ogema Township Hall (CR 137). A pair was
seen about 3/4 mile south of the Township Hall on CR 137, near Bang's
Brook. I doubled back to be sure I wasn't seeing the same bird on the move.
