[Mnbird] Spotted Dove

On September 13 at about 2:00 PM, I saw a spotted dove at the entrance 
to the Black Forest Restaurant in Minneapolis at Nicollet and 26th 
street.  It lacked most tail feathers and was quite tame. It left the 
restaurant entrance and flew across the street.

It closely resembled the illustration in the 2000 Sibley, save for the 
lack of a tail.

I realize it could be an escaped cage bird. It appears to be well 
established in California.
