[Mnbird] Red breasted nuthatch

Report from the cabin on Platte Lake in Crow Wing County--
The orioles are gone, but hummingbirds are still busy at the feeders.   
That includes one-- probably migrating-- that couldn't figure out how to get at 
 the nectar.  The highlight was a red breasted nuthatch.  They  sometimes 
show up here in the fall, but I haven't seen one for a few years. 
 
Otherwise, an unremarkable weekend for birds.
