Another birder, Bart, and I were fortunate to see four Sandhill Cranes today at a very close distance on the far west end.
The gate to the Byllesby west end is on the south side of Hwy 88, about 1/8 mile east of Hwy 56. Today the gate was open to allow for parking inside.

Also at the west end:
116 American White Pelicans
  14 Lesser Yellowlegs
  13 Greater Yellowlegs
     7 Pectoral Sandpiper
     2 Semi-palmated Sandpiper
Large mixed flock of Northern Shoveler, Mallard, Green-winged Teal and American Coot.

At the Great Western Industrial Park on the west side of Hwy 56, just north of the church, Western and Eastern Meadowlarks are
       singing and visible.
