[Mnbird] Black dog west

Unfortunately the road is closed to public access as of May 2014.  A trail 
is being built for public use in 2016, though I'm guessing the trail will be 
on the river side which is not the prime birding side of the road....  A 
significant amount of tree and undergrowth destruction was being done the 
string of 2014, pretty disruptive for the birds.  Not sure what the are 
looks like now as I've not attempted to go back since the road closed.

Black dog west has a "Road Closed" sign half way across the road at I-35 W. 
What's going on?  How do I access Black Dog birding areas?
